Taking place two years after the events of FFX, Yuna has defeated Sin, and Spira has entered the Eternal Calm. Now Yuna lives peacefully on Besaid Island, though this is what she thought she'd always wanted, something was missing. Yuna knew what it was...it was Tidus. He had vanished into thin air after they defeated Sin, and they presumed he was dead.

One day Rikku, one of Yuna's former guardians, shows Yuna a sphere that is recording someone they believe to be Tidus. Anxious to know more Yuna sets out on another journey...which will lead her to have to try and save the world once again.
