A cheerful star player of the blitzball team Zanarkand Abes. He dislikes his father, Jecht, who was a star blittzball player back in his day aswell. Tidus is somewhat known to be much of a crybaby, always getting emotional about tough situations. Though his quick moves allow him to attack even the swiftest of foes with ease.

Daughter of High Summoner Braska, and a summoner like her father. Honest and determined, Yuna embarks on a pilgrimage to learn the ancient art of summoning in order to defeat Sin.

A legendary guardian who defeated Sin alongside High Summoner Braska ten years ago. A man of few words, he leads Yuna and Tidus on their mission to defeat Sin again. Auron wields a powerful sword, which is capable of inflicting great damage on enemies with tough exteriors.

.::[Kimahri Ronso]::.
A young warrior of the Ronso tribe who has protected Yuna ever since she lost her parents ten years ago. Quiet and taciturn, he is deeply devoted to Yuna and serves her loyally as a guardian. Kimahri can learn enemy skills using his Lancet ability. Since he was the smallest of his tribe he was picked on early in his lifetime, in which his horn was broke off.

Captain of the Besaid Village blitzball team, the Besaid Aurochs. Wakka plans to retire from the sport after this year's tournament, so that he can become a full-time guardian to Yuna. He is especially strong against aerial enemies and attacks with his deadly blitzball. Headstrong and stubborn about always sticking to yevon's rules it seems to annoying the others is some situations.

One of Yuna's guardians along with Wakka and Kimahri. She thinks of Yuna as a younger sister. Her looks and composed personaility can make her seem aloof at times. Her specialty is in the art of black magic which comes in handy through out the story.

.::[Rikku]::.
A cute, vibrant member of the Al Bhed tribe. Her personality is upbeat and positive, and she is not afraid to speak her mind. She can defeat mechanical enemies with ease, and can steal from enemies as well. She has a special link to the summoner Yuna.

.::[Seymour]::.
Seymour Guado is the current head of the demi-human Guado tribe. Seymour, however, is only half-Guado: His father was Ziscal, the previous Guado chief, but his mother was a human. Caught in between two races, he fight's against inequality and is consequently a popular public figure. Seymour is not just the head of the Guado tribe, but a leader in the Yevon religion as well. The predominant religion of Final Fantasy X's world, Yevon teaches that technology must never be used unless absolutely necessary.
