Welcome to our Materia section, here you will find detailed information on every materia known in FINAL FANTASY VII. Within the game there are several different types of Materia such as Command Materia, Magic Materia, Summon Materia, Independant Materia, and Support Materia. The Command Materia is helpful and yet in someways it's disliked. You get more then one skill with each materia, but when you level it up, you lose the previous ability. With Magic Materia you can cast ice, fire, lightning, and more! Mostly all Magic Materia has three stages of leveling up. Summon Materia allows you to summon forth monsters of great strength to deal heavy damange to your enemy. Independant Materia are materia that acts by itself, and does skills without the aid of other materia. The final kind of materia is known as Support Materia, which attaches to other materia's to make them better.
